21st Century Skills Through Digital Learning in a 1:1 Environment

Our Lady of Grace Elementary/Middle School has planned a special day to help area schools understand, experience, and observe a 21st Century Digital Learning Environment. For two plus years, Our Lady of Grace School has had a 1:1 Digital Learning Environment in their school. With planning and leadership the program is progressing smoothing into its third year. This day long event will profile the elementary and middle school learning environment. Computer carts in the elementary grades prepare students for the 1:1 computer environment in the middle school.

Attendees will begin the day with discussions of 21st century learning and mobile technologies in education. After the opening session participants will visit two elementary and middle school classrooms to observe the technology enriched learning environment. In the afternoon teachers and students will relate the teaching and learning experiences they have in a 1:1 digital learning environment. This is a great opportunity to share best practices, observe a 1:1 learning environment, and discuss how to make our educational programs even better.
